Bay County Public Library as Gallery

Bay County Public Library (BCPL) enriches its patron experience through art displays, including:

  • A collection of permanent pieces and long-term loans.
  • Regular art exhibits.
  • Special events that include art.

Designated wall space in the Youth Services and Adult Services wings accommodates temporary exhibits.

A display case is also available to showcase small pieces.

                                                          “Bay County – The Natural Environment” painting by Paul Brent;
                                                             Mary Redmann’s “Abstract” exhibit in the display case below.

Library Director Robin Shader says, “Having exhibits in the library supports the concept of library as community hub, and we absolutely love offering space for artists to share their work. It’s a win-win-win; great for the library, the artists and our patrons!”
