Crestview Public Library as Gallery

Crestview Public Library’s art gallery wall

Many public libraries display art and artifacts, both for their patrons’ enjoyment and to help boost the careers of local artists. Some even buy art or commission artists to create permanent installations for the library.

Crestview Public Library (aka The Robert L. F. Sikes Public Library) has done all of this. In fact, because of its support of the arts, it’s been dubbed Crestview’s “defacto art center” by Brian Hughes, the Crestview News Bulletin Arts & Entertainment editor.
