Funding Priorities

The funding priorities for FY2025-26 competitive projects are America250 Florida community celebration activities and support. Projects may include activities such as:

  • Production of education materials (short publications, web content, posters, interpretive signage).
  • Lectures or lecture series.
  • Musical or theatrical performances.

Important Note for FY2025-2026

Project activities cannot start before the grant agreement is signed by both the awardee and the Division. This step will be completed by June 19, 2026. All project activities must be completed by September 15, 2026, with all expenditures completed by September 30, 2026.

During FY2025-26, the percentage of total costs for the Administration of the Annual Program financed with federal money is 67%; the federal dollar amount to be spent on the program is $250,181. This program does not receive any nongovernmental funding.
