Library Cooperative Coordinators: This meeting is intended for the coordinators of Florida's public library cooperatives, and attendance is by invitation only.

New Directors: This meeting will allow new or transitioning library leaders to discuss issues that are unique to their libraries, and share ideas or challenges that come up as they assume their new roles as a public library directors.

Public Library Assembly

The Assembly gives directors the chance to share and discuss issues and topics important for and specific to Florida’s libraries.

Our next event will be an assembly for Library Systems Serving Populations > 398K, held Thursday and Friday, December 12 - 13, 2024, from 2 - 5 p.m. (Thursday) and 9 a.m. - 1 p.m. (Friday) Eastern.

For FY2024-25, the percentage of total costs for the Director Connections program financed with federal money is 67%; the federal dollar amount to be spent on the programs is $87,265. This program does not include any non-governmental funding.
