Library Cooperative Coordinators: This meeting is intended for the coordinators of Florida's public library cooperatives, and attendance is by invitation only.

Municipal Directors: This meeting is intended for public library directors of the state’s municipal libraries to have a chance to meet, discuss the needs of your diverse communities, and share common challenges and opportunities.

Directors of Small & Rural Libraries: This meeting is intended for directors of libraries in small or rural communities to discuss the unique challenges and opportunities facing their patrons and libraries.

New Directors: This meeting will allow new or transitioning library leaders to discuss issues that are unique to their libraries, and share ideas or challenges that come up as they assume their new roles as a public library directors.

The Assembly gives directors the chance to share and discuss issues and topics important for and specific to Florida’s libraries.

For FY2024-25, the percentage of total costs for the Director Connections program financed with federal money is 67%; the federal dollar amount to be spent on the programs is $87,265. This program does not include any non-governmental funding.
