The FLYP Side

Join your fellow Youth Services staff from across the state to celebrate successes, share programming ideas and brainstorm solutions to challenges. This session will be a general discussion, so bring your thoughts, questions and ideas.

Let's talk outreach! Whether your library has a bookmobile, hosts programs during afterschool sessions, holds storytime in a local park, or any of the other incredible outreach activities that happen across the state, we want to hear your experiences! Whether you have been planning outreach activities for decades or are just starting the planning process, your voice is important! Bring your outreach questions, successes and ideas to share.

If you can’t join us live, don’t worry—simply complete the registration form, and you will receive a summary with links to the resources shared during the session in a follow-up email. I can’t wait to see you there!

For FY2025-26, the percentage of total costs for the Florida Library Youth Program financed with federal money is 67%; the federal dollar amount to be spent on FLYP is $261,300. This program does not receive any non-governmental funding.
