About the meeting

This meeting provides an opportunity for public library directors and leaders from across the state to:

  • Receive updates from statewide leaders on current issues.
  • Gain new insights and skills from library community contemporaries.
  • Network with colleagues.
  • Share best practices.
  • Recognize outstanding programs and leaders.

We invite all Florida public library directors and administrative heads, multitype library cooperative executive directors and special guests to attend this meeting.

2025 meeting

The meeting will be held in person on December 9 - 10, 2025, in Tallahassee, Florida at the Augustus B. Turnbull III Florida State Conference Center. There will also be an option to attend the meeting virtually.

  • Registration deadline is Friday, November 14, 2025, at 5 p.m. Eastern.

Please note: Each attendee will need to make and pay for their own hotel accommodations. Further information on accommodation options will be included in your registration invitation.

For FY2025-26, the percentage of total costs for the Leadership Development and Recruitment program financed with federal money is 67%; the federal dollar amount to be spent on the program is $70,769. This program does not include any non-governmental funding.
