Fees

  • This program, which is valued at a minimum of $2,500, has no application fee.
  • Upon acceptance, participants will be charged a registration fee.

Transportation and accommodation costs

  • Transportation and accommodation costs are the responsibility of the participants or their institutions.
  • Participants must make arrangements for transportation and accommodations themselves. 
  • Most participants have been able to commute to sessions within one day.
    • Others, who live either in the northernmost or southernmost parts of Florida, have typically incurred only one night of accommodations costs per session.

Education

For FY2024-25, the percentage of total costs for the Sunshine State Library Leadership Institute financed with federal money is 67%; the federal dollar amount to be spent on the program is $70,734. This program does not include any non-governmental funding.
