The Division manages the State Library and Archives, supports public libraries, directs records management services, and is the designated information resource provider for the state of Florida.
A Final Report for the project is due November 1. This report includes, at a minimum, accomplishments, an evaluation of the impact of the project, and a financial accounting of expenditures.

During FY2025-26, the percentage of total costs for the Administration of the Annual Program financed with federal money is 67%; the federal dollar amount to be spent on the program is $250,181. This program does not receive any nongovernmental funding.
Many of these resources and programs are funded under the provisions of the Library Services and Technology Act from the Institute of Museum and Library Services. Florida's LSTA program is administered by the Department of State's Division of Library and Information Services.
