MEDIA ADVISORY: Press Preview for New Fishing Exhibit at Museum of Florida History
Tallahassee, FL –
The Department of State’s Museum of Florida History invites the press to a special preview of the exhibit, The Lure of Florida Fishing, at the Museum of Florida History on Thursday, March 13th at 10:30 a.m.The exhibit explores the rise of sport fishing in the Sunshine State and how it became such a popular past-time. More than 100 artifacts, including tackle, trophies and fish mounts tell the tale of recreational fishing in Florida. It will also feature interactive elements through electronic games that allow visitors to experience fishing in Florida for themselves.
