MEDIA ADVISORY: Secretary of State Ken Detzner Media Availability Tonight

Florida Secretary of State Ken Detzner will be available to the media to discuss Florida’s 2014 Primary Election in the Department of State's R.A. Gray Building tonight at 8:30 p.m. The press availability will be in the department’s Gallery for Innovation and the Arts on the first floor.

All Floridians will be able to view Florida's preliminary election results on the Florida Election Watch website, enight.elections.myflorida.com. Please be aware that while Florida polls close at 7 p.m., Florida has two time zones. Voting will not be completed statewide until 7 p.m. CT/8 p.m. ET, at which time, election results will be released.  Visitors to the site will be able to customize their results tracking by contest, county and other categories.

Results for the Primary Election will not be official until the Elections Canvassing Commission certifies them on September 4, 2014.
