Upcoming Qualifying Period Deadline Approaching

U.S. Representative, Judicial, State Attorney and Public Defender (20th Circuit only) candidates

Tallahassee — Secretary of State Ken Detzner released the following statement regarding the upcoming qualifying deadline approaching for U.S. Representative, Judicial, State Attorney and Public Defender (20th Circuit only) candidates from noon, Monday, April 28, 2014 to noon, Friday, May 2, 2014.  Qualifying papers will be accepted beginning Monday, April 14, 2014, pursuant to Section 99.061(8), F.S.

“I encourage candidates to file their qualifying paperwork early,” said Secretary  of State Ken Detzner.“  Qualifying information is updated daily on the Division of Elections website and staff is here to assist.”
