Secretary of State Cord Byrd Urges Businesses to File Early

File Annual Reports at Sunbiz to Avoid Additional Fees

TALLAHASSEE, FLA. –

Florida Secretary of State Cord Byrd is encouraging businesses to file early and to file directly at DOS.Fl.Gov/Sunbiz.

Secretary of State Cord Byrd said, “Beware of companies sending misleading solicitations.  Businesses don’t need to hire an outside firm to file an annual report.  Filing is easy, fast and available day or night during filing season.”

Any profit corporation, non-profit corporation, limited liability company, or limited partnership that has a filed date or effective date prior to 2025 is required to file an annual report by Thursday, May 1, 2025.

You can file your annual report 24 hours a day, seven days a week.  More information, including step-by-step instructions, can be found at DOS.Fl.Gov/Sunbiz.
