MEDIA ADVISORY: Meeting of Florida’s 29 Presidential Electors

Florida’s 29 Presidential Electors will convene in Tallahassee, Florida, in the Florida Senate Chamber on Monday, December 19, 2016 at 2 p.m. to vote for the President and Vice President of the United States of America. Information regarding the selection and nomination of presidential electors can be found in Chapter 103, Florida Statutes.

Due to space limitations, only credentialed guests with photo identification will be able to attend the event. Members of the media wishing to attend must request a media credential from the Department of State’s communications office, in addition to bringing their press credentials to access the media gallery. To request a media credential, please contact Meredith Beatrice at [email protected], providing the name(s) and media outlet. Additional instructions will be provided.

The event will also be livestreamed by the Florida Channel on www.TheFloridaChannel.org.

The Florida Department of State’s Division of Elections supports the Secretary of State, Florida’s Chief Election Officer, in ensuring that Florida has fair and accurate elections.
