America250FL Grant Applications are Open

Deadline for applications is August 6, 2025

TALLAHASSEE, FLA. –

Secretary of State Cord Byrd announced that applications are being accepted for the America250FL grant program. Gov. Ron DeSantis signed a bill providing $1 million in funding for grants related to America250FL and the celebration of the 250^th anniversary of the signing of the Declaration of Independence. 

“As chair of the America 250 Florida Commission, I look forward to the engaging, patriotic and educational programs these grants will help fund,” said Secretary of State Cord Byrd. “I know they will create lasting memories and serve as a reminder that the freedom we cherish must be preserved for the next generation.”
