Description

Martin County’s Art in Public Places program invites regional artists to submit proposals for a new mosaic installation at the Manatee Pocket Mooring Field upland facility in Port Salerno, Florida.

This project aims to highlight the culture, history, and natural environment of Port Salerno through thoughtful and engaging public art.

Project Highlights:
Location: SE Park Drive, Port Salerno, FL
Deadline to Apply: July 7, 2025
Budget: $15,000
Artwork Size: 7 feet tall by 6 feet wide
Eligibility: The project is open to all professional artists from the region, as defined in the Art in Public Places Ordinance No. 1103, Chapter 13, General Ordinances, Martin County Code. Artists with experience implementing their ideas and work in the public realm and collaborating with public agencies are encouraged to apply. The Martin County Art in Public Places program welcomes applications from artists with diverse backgrounds and experiences.

The selected mosaic will become a visual anchor at the entrance of the facility. Port Salerno is a waterfront community known for its working harbor, local art galleries, and coastal character.
