The Division is responsible for preserving and promoting Florida’s historical, archaeological and folk culture resources.
The Miami Circle at Brickell Point was discovered during archaeological salvage excavations in 1998. The Miami Circle is comprised of holes and basins carved into the shallow limestone formation. This site is a designated National Historic Landmark.
