In contemporary Florida, a state with the third largest population in the United States and a major tourism destination, you can still catch glimpses of pioneer Florida wherever you go. 

From cattle ranching to folk songs, this guide explores the influence of the pioneer spirit on Florida’s history and culture.

For FY2023-24, the percentage of total costs for the State Library and Statewide Resource Sharing program financed with federal money is 67%; the federal dollar amount to be spent on the program is $1,502,070. Local match, which includes non-governmental funding, is $742,070.31.
